“No Aloha, No My Life”
Aloha! My name is Akiramen. I started this website to spread Aloha to Japan. When I come to Hawaii, I feel Aloha. I believe it is important to share this Aloha. My favorite phrase is “Aloha Aku, Aloha Mai” which means “love and receive love”.
This website features music from Hawaii. Although Hawaii state is much smaller than Japan, there are so many talented musicians. The goal of this website is to spread their Aloha to Japan.

～About Rapper, Akiramen～
I started to rap when I was 14 years old and perform at stages after I graduated from a high school in Osaka. I am good at doing freestyle and have won MC battle competitions in Japan.
I came to Hawaii Pacific University as an exchange student in 2011 and had my rap performances in Hawaii. My rap was featured by a radio and newspaper.
After I went back to Japan, I worked as a teacher at a high school. In 2014, I came back to Hawaii and studied at Kapiolani Community College, where I majored in Hospitality and Tourism. I took a class, Hawaiian study and met a Hawaiian teacher, and I started to have interests in Hawaiian culture and history. I made a rap song about pineapples and had rap performances at Kalakaua Street in Waikiki. On 12/30 in 2016, I released a Hawaii debut EP, “AlohaMan”. My release live will be held in 2017.
